About The Position

Provide direct nursing care within a correctional setting. Conduct comprehensive health assessments. Prepare, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans. Diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health problems. Deliver nursing services including case-finding, health teaching, and counseling. Provide care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being. Execute medical regimens prescribed by licensed healthcare providers. Serve on interdisciplinary healthcare teams and health-related committees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and provide nursing care to patients.

• Consult with treatment teams and other disciplines regarding nursing matters.
