Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse Department: Long-Term Care Pay Rate: $34.00 Hourly Hours: Night Shift: 5:45am- 6:15pm (3- days a week, rotating days during the week with every other weekend) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision & 401(k) matching Daily Lunch Provided for all Staff Paid time off Holiday Pay Employee Assistance Fund Continuing Education & Scholarship Programs Mentorship Referral Bonus Advancement Opportunities The charge nurse position is responsible for: Performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents Implementing specific procedures and programs Participating with the director of nursing and the ADON in establishing specific goals Determining work procedures and expediting workflow Ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures and Oklahoma Department of Health regulations and Federal Health Care Administration regulations Communicating with and supervising appropriate personnel Providing daily reports and other periodic reports Performing all the duties of a certified nursing assistant and CMA when required

Requirements

  • Have an active State of Oklahoma RN License.
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
  • Frequent lifting & moving.
  • Must have the ability to lift, move, push, pull, & transfer 100 lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
