About The Position

Seeking a strong Cardiac ICU RN with experience in high-acuity cardiovascular patients and advanced cardiac devices. This unit manages cardiac and medical ICU patients , along with occasional step-down overflow. Candidates must have solid experience in CVICU or a strong CCU/Cardiopulmonary ICU setting due to the complexity of patient conditions and devices.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant ICU experience required , but must be cardiac-focused
Experience managing patients with: LVAD, Impella, IABP, Temporary Transvenous Pacemaker (TVP), Mechanical ventilation, CRRT, Invasive lines, Hemodynamic monitoring
Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath & Interventions
Sheath removal
Post-cardiac surgery patients (step-down from OR, not immediate fresh open heart)
BLS
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale
Dysrhythmia Interpretation
