This Registered Nurse (RN) position focuses on cardiovascular specialty, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to promote and restore patients' health. The role involves providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families in structural heart, cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery, or electrophysiology sub-specialties. Key responsibilities include establishing patient care goals, educating patients and families on their condition, medications, and self-care, and addressing complex healthcare questions. The RN ensures quality of care by adhering to guideline-driven practices, measuring health outcomes against standards, making necessary adjustments, and complying with nursing philosophies and regulations set by the state board of nursing and other governing agencies.
