About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge caring for critical care and intermediate care patients involving cardiac surgeries and procedures with a variety of cardiovascular medical diagnoses. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice (Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked
  • COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of science in nursing
  • Critical Care Nursing experience
  • Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
