Johnson 4 is a medical/surgical and cardiac telemetry Progressive Care Unit, which accepts patients 18 years of age or older with cardiac and Medical/ surgical conditions. Common Medical Diagnoses Heart failure STEMI/NSTEMI Acute Coronary Syndrome Syncope Cardiac Dysrhythmia Cerebral Vascular Accident Circulatory disorder Chest Pain Pre and Post Pacemaker/AICD placement Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following: Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments,observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes 36 hours per week, day shift (7am-7pm)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred
  • PCU Experience prreferred
  • Progressive Telemetry Competency Education ~ preferred
