Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry - 36 hours rotating (12-hour shifts) every other weekend and rotating holidays required. Johnson 4 is a medical/surgical and cardiac telemetry Progressive Care Unit, which accepts patients 18 years of age or older with cardiac and Medical/ surgical conditions. Common Medical Diagnoses Heart failure STEMI/NSTEMI Acute Coronary Syndrome Syncope Cardiac Dysrhythmia Cerebral Vascular Accident Circulatory disorder Chest Pain Pre and Post Pacemaker/AICD placement Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- ACLS preferred
- PCU Experience prreferred
- Progressive Telemetry Competency Education ~ preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments,observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
- Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes
