About The Position

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Patient population consists of adult and geriatric medical and surgical cardiac patients. Common diagnosis: AMI, ACS, CHF (primary diagnosis), complex arrhythmias, chest pain with elevated troponins, stable post STEMI/NSTEMI, CAD, PVD, AVR, MVR, and pre and post -op CABG. Cardiac drips, chest tubes, pre & post pacemakers, stable post- op epicardial pacers, ICD, PCI, EPS, CTO, ablations, endarterectomy, thoracotomy, peripheral artery repair, and vascular surgery. For the past 5 years AH Pineville received the IBM Watson Top 50 CV Hospital. The award validates and highlights outstanding CV quality performance in heart failure, PCI, AMI, and CABG. This puts Pineville’s CV program in the top 2% of community-based CV programs in the country. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
