You’ll be empowered to think boldly, collaborate with humility, and drive change through fearless curiosity. Your feedback matters. Every nurse’s voice is vital in shaping our culture and improving care. We value your insights and experiences because they help us grow stronger together. Where You Will Work: Our 12‑bed Cardiac/Neuro Progressive Care Unit specializes in caring for cardiac and neurological patients, including pre‑ and post‑procedure cardiac cases and acute stroke patients. As the hospital’s stepdown unit, we manage higher‑acuity medical‑surgical patients transitioning to or from ICU-level care, with a typical daily census of 11–12 and an average length of stay of two days. Nurses maintain a 4:1 ratio, supported by nursing assistants at 6:1. We’re seeking nurses with a strong teamwork mindset, excellent organization, and the ability to care for high‑acuity patients while providing clear, compassionate patient education—especially around heart failure and stroke risk factors. A great attitude, strong communication skills, and comfort explaining complex information are essential; prior nursing or ICU experience is a plus but not required. Motivated new graduates and experienced RNs alike thrive here. Our highly engaged team is known for exceptional collaboration, camaraderie, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care—making this a supportive environment to build clinical skill and confidence.
