Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within last 12 years) acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry RN experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree or higher.
• Experience with post-cardiac and neuro patient populations.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac, neuro, and telemetry patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological changes, and vital signs, responding promptly to patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized providers.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Uphold hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and professional development initiatives.
