About The Position
Sentara is currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Cardiac Unit 2 West. This is a part-time, nightshift position, approximately 7pm to 7am. The 2 West Cardiac Medicine unit is a dynamic, 34-bed telemetry unit focused on delivering high-quality cardiac care. The team collaborates with hospitalists and cardiologists to care for patients with congestive heart failure, angina, STEMI/NSTEMI, and arrhythmias. They also recover patients who have undergone cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and cardioversions. The unit is known for its amazing and diverse team of nurses and patient care technicians, committed to excellent patient care and satisfaction, strong collaboration, supportive leadership, and excellent performance outcomes. As an RN with Sentara, there are opportunities to excel and grow nursing skills in various specialties, with promotional opportunities into leadership or to advance the level of care in different settings. Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school
