About The Position

Position Overview: Provides safe, quality care in the perioperative/procedural areas. Implements the nursing process; assessment, planning, implementation of nursing plan of care, and evaluation of patient response to care. Coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines. This position will rotate between the CMHS Ambulatory, Infusion, and Pain Centers.

Requirements

• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• One (1) year of acute care nursing experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Moderate Sedation experience
• Acute care experience
• American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses
• SGNA membership
• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word Processing software
• Bilingual in Spanish
