About The Position

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a December or May new graduate RN to join our Neuro Epilepsy Unit . This is a supportive, high-performing unit with strong retention, excellent morale, and a highly engaged manager who is passionate about growing and mentoring new nurses. About the Unit: Cares for epilepsy patients and intermediate-level stroke patients Collaborative team environment with strong peer strong Dedicated virtual nurse support to assist with admissions and discharges, allowing bedside nurses to focus on patient care This is an excellent opportunity for new graduate nurses looking to build a strong foundation in neuro care within a position and well-supported environment. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
  • Associate Degree - Nursing

Responsibilities
