Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital designed to support patients through recovery with advanced equipment and specialized care environments. Our collaborative, multidisciplinary team fosters a supportive culture focused on patient outcomes, professional growth, and work-life balance. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, brain or spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions. Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the Gainesville community. The facility features private patient rooms, a dedicated wing for acquired brain injury and stroke patients, and advanced therapy spaces designed to optimize recovery. Lifepoint Rehabilitation manages day-to-day operations, ensuring continuity of high-quality care and a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
