Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital designed to support patients through recovery with advanced equipment and specialized care environments. The collaborative, multidisciplinary team fosters a supportive culture focused on patient outcomes, professional growth, and work-life balance. The RN will work alongside experienced clinicians providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, brain or spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
