About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (Pulmonary) to join our inpatient nursing team. You will provide high-quality care to patients requiring specialized pulmonary treatment in a dynamic, team-based environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 4 years)
- Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License
- Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- BLS certification (must be completed before start date)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire
- Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Must live within 60 minutes of Gainesville, FL
- In-person interview, shadow session, and facility tour required

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver education to patients and families on medications, conditions, and procedures
- Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Promote efficiency in resource usage and ensure adherence to care protocols
- Provide high-quality nursing care aligned with the unit’s patient-centered model
