About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary Unit in Gainesville. This fast-paced unit cares for patients requiring specialized pulmonary treatment and offers an excellent opportunity to grow your clinical expertise while working with a supportive and experienced team.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).
- Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License .
- Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required
- Certifications: BLS (required before start date)
- NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days of hire)
- Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Must live within 60 minutes of Gainesville.
- In-person interview required , including shadowing and a facility tour.

Responsibilities
- Collect and assess comprehensive patient health data.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and procedures.
- Advocate for patient safety while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with unit standards.
