About The Position
The RN Pulmonary role supports patients requiring specialized pulmonary care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team committed to high-quality care and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years)
- Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required
- BLS required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire
- Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Must live within 60 minutes of Gainesville
- In-person interview, shadow session, and facility tour required

Responsibilities
- Collect and assess comprehensive data related to patient health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments
- Advocate for patient safety and efficient resource use
- Deliver high-quality, consistent care aligned with the unit’s standards
