About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join a float pool supporting cardiac-focused units. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac care experience and the ability to manage patients in step-down and telemetry environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of PCU/IMCU or similar experience required
• Strong cardiac care experience required
• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to manage multiple patient acuity levels (ratio 1:3–4)
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in PCU/IMCU and telemetry units
• Manage cardiac patients including STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain cases
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, pressors)
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Float across units as required
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
