About The Position

The Program Manager-Professional Nursing Practice provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the organization's Magnet or Pathway to Excellence Programs, assuming market-wide responsibility for coordinating the program application, designation, and re-designation processes. In collaboration with nursing leadership and organizational stakeholders, this role develops, implements, and sustains strategies to achieve and maintain Magnet or Pathway to Excellence designation in alignment with the organization's mission and strategic plan. The Program Manager plans and directs program activities, establishes a comprehensive evaluation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • 5 years of nursing or related healthcare experience is required.
  • Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Leadership or project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with hospital operations and clinical care delivery is preferred.
