About The Position
Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Heartland Imaging is currently seeking an experienced RN for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging centers located in Louisville, KY. JOB SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director, the Registered Nurse: Is a highly-skilled clinician utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery. Manages care at a highly-developed skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, & other members of the health care team. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year as an RN in a clinical setting
- Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification may be required.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Ability to manage medical emergencies and contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
