Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pain Management Cost Center: 301191219 Eau Claire-Pain Management Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Mon-Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: None Preferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: Current Registered Nurse License awarded by the applicable state or Nurse Compact License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location). Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location). Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Requirements
