Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a nursing certification in a related field (to be obtained within 6 months of hire) or Master's degree in Nursing
Five years' registered nurse experience in the field of position applied for.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with community partner leaders an staff to assess learning needs.
Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs which may utilize methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
Provides technical assistance and leadership to community healthcare professionals as related to education programs and/or quality improvement (QI) projects.
Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
Keeps records of educational activities and prepares reports.
Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient’s age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the department's scope of service.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
