Through our Med Clinics—located across several ReDiscover sites—our compassionate team partners with clients to evaluate their needs, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide ongoing monitoring and support.

Requirements

  • Availability to work a Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • Floating Between - (4) Clinics 6801 E 117th Street KCMO 5904 Bannister Road, KCMO 901 NE Independence, Lee's Summit, MO 1535 NE Rice Road, Lee's Summit, MO
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse (or the ability to practice as an RN in the state of Missouri).
  • Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as use of email.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two (2) years clinical experience in a direct service provision in a mental health setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of the community resources as well as health and social service systems in the Kansas City metro area and skill in establishing working relationships with community partners preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial assessment/history on all clients entering treatment.
  • Strategically use assessment information to make an appropriate clinical evaluation of client's current conditions in a timely manner. This includes (but not limited to) making appropriate referrals, consulting with physician, and/or educating the client as appropriate.
  • Educate client and families on symptoms, medications and side effects.
  • Provide a welcoming approach towards all clients, visitors and guests from a trauma informed approach.
  • Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover’s designated electronic medical record.
  • Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.
