Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Strategically use assessment information to make an appropriate clinical evaluation of client's current conditions in a timely manner. This includes (but not limited to) making appropriate referrals, consulting with physician, and/or educating the client as appropriate. Educate client and families on symptoms, medications and side effects. Provide a welcoming approach towards all clients, visitors and guests from a trauma informed approach. Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover’s designated electronic medical record. Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse (or the ability to practice as an RN in the state of Missouri).
- At least two (2) years clinical experience in a direct service provision in a mental health setting preferred.
- Knowledge of the community resources as well as health and social service systems in the Kansas City metro area and skill in establishing working relationships with community partners preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
Nice To Haves
