About The Position
The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse provides perioperative care, with a strong focus on orthopedic procedures , ensuring patient safety and effective surgical support throughout procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
- Strong orthopedic experience required
- Accredited nursing degree must be listed on profile OR Minimum 5 years of experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Active Florida RN license or Compact license
- Must be active and verifiable via Nursys at submission
- Floating may be required
- Possible assignment to: Other OR units Sister campuses
- Candidates must be flexible
Nice To Haves
- Prior travel experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care
- Support surgical teams, especially in orthopedic cases
- Maintain sterile field and patient safety
- Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
- Float to other OR units or sister campuses if required
