About The Position

Brookings Health System is seeking a Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team to deliver the best possible care! Compensation range for this position is $31.70 to $45.20, depending on experience Provides nursing care pre, intra, and post operatively so patients are ensured a safe and optimal surgical environment. Educates and provides a safe environment for patients undergoing a surgical or diagnostic procedure. Incumbent will work closely with physicians, medical nursing staff, and ancillary departments within the hospital to promote optimal patient outcomes. The OR RN must possess effective communication skills, exhibit increased knowledge of disease processes and display advanced critical thinking ability. Competence in medication administration, physical assessment, advanced monitoring systems, and common nursing procedures is essential. Expectations include always providing excellent customer service and maintaining flexibility to meet a constantly changing work environment. Requirements

  • Must have a current South Dakota RN license
  • CPR/BLS, PALS and ACLS certification will be required to have or obtain once hired
