Our OB/GYN outpatient office at Horace Harding Expressway is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with at least two years of clinical experience in women’s health, family planning, and reproductive healthcare in ambulatory or outpatient settings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where exceptional care and teamwork drive every interaction. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current NYS RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to float to other ambulatory care centers
  • Experience using EPIC for documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic
  • Adherence to HIPAA, NYP Code of Conduct, and infection Control practices
  • Experience with Medical Chaperones for examinations per policy
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (ANCC)

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for OB/GYN patient population
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and blood products
  • Deliver family planning counseling
  • Conduct new OB patient interviews, including in-office and via telephone
  • Complete depression screenings (PHQ-9, Edinburgh) and Social Determinants of Health assessments, creating follow-up plans as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide patient education and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
  • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Assist with in-office procedures and OR scheduling for NYPQ surgical cases
  • Perform high level disinfection on the vaginal probes
  • Assist providers with manual vacuum aspiration for first trimester abortion care
  • Provides thorough visit summaries to patients and family members
