About The Position

UCP Seguin is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Trainer to support the delivery of high-quality medical services for adults with developmental disabilities. In this essential role, you will assist the Director of Medical Services with coordinating and monitoring participant health needs, ensuring care aligns with state and federal standards. You will play a key role in training DSP staff on medication administration and medical procedures, conducting nursing assessments, and evaluating health risks to support the well-being of individuals served. Responsibilities include maintaining medical histories, coordinating physician communications, supporting Implementation Strategy meetings, monitoring ongoing medical needs, and acting as a liaison between healthcare providers, families, and agency staff. You will also participate in rotating on-call coverage, maintaining required certifications, and contributing to a collaborative and solutions-focused medical services team. Requirements

  • Active RN license in Illinois
  • Minimum 2 years' nursing experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, or similar setting
  • Reliable working vehicle and cell phone
