Our main campus is a Level III Trauma Center. We provide emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Stonebridge. We have cardiovascular and neurological services. We offer general surgery, orthopedics and womens services. Additionally, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit and behavioral health services. Medical City McKinney is a Primary Stroke Center. Requirements

At least 1 year of RN NICU experience is required
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
NTD Cardiac Stable Module must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
Registered Nurse in the state of Texas or compact state license
Associate Degree in Nursing
Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
Neonate Resuscitate, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols.
You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
You will provide education and emotional support to premature infants through 2 years of age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient/family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
