We are hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for our Neurology Clinic at the Plaza. The position is based at the Plaza but may travel to other locations as needed. This is a full-time Monday through Friday day shift position working 8 to 4:30. In clinic setting, provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. The role is responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care, including scheduling emergent need patient appointments. The nurse will identify learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, and insert intravenous access with medication. Administrative duties and tasks as assigned based on clinic need are also part of the role. The position involves delegating tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice, and serving as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. The nurse will enter admission orders as directed by a provider and manage expired samples. The ideal candidate is able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times. The role may also involve covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.
