Registered Nurse – Neuro and Vascular Step Down

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro and Vascular Step Down unit supporting patients requiring advanced monitoring, neurological assessment, and vascular-focused care in an inpatient setting. This role provides the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams. The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering individualized patient care using the nursing process, including age-appropriate assessments, development and evaluation of interdisciplinary plans of care, administration of treatments and medications, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Nurses apply strong critical thinking, communication, and delegation skills to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved nursing program eligible for Virginia licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
- CPR certification required
- Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as required
- Computer proficiency required for electronic medical record documentation
- Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements
- Ability to meet essential job functions
