The Registered Nurse (RN) (Mental Healht) is responsible for providing nursing care to incarcerated patients, including conducting health assessments, administering medications and treatments, providing patient education, documenting care, and coordinating with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN works closely with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare services while incarcerated, participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
