Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical-Surgical Medical-Surgical Nurse Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital 33 Pine Ridge Boulevard, Wausau, WI 54401 Department: Medical-Surgical 13 - Week assignment 12 Hour Nights 19:00 - 07:30 Key Features Specialties: The hospital is recognized for its specialized services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, women’s health, and neurology. Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of medical-surgical or hospital experience, including trauma care at a Level II facility
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions
- Manage patients with a variety of conditions in a dynamic, fast-paced medical-surgical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and ensure documentation compliance
