About The Position

Position Overview A Level I Trauma Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking skilled and dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join a dynamic and diverse care team. This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurologic, orthopedic, and nephrology conditions while advancing your clinical expertise in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (recent experience not required)
ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
Active RN license (MO or Compact)
BLS certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments according to standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Provide direct patient care and supervise non-licensed staff within defined scope of practice.
Deliver patient and family education, supporting emotional needs across varying ages and cultural backgrounds.
