Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry-Night Shift

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse is a staff nurse responsible for safe and appropriate patient care, for providing instruction, direction and supervision to subordinate unit staff, serving as a resource for all departments. Work requires thorough and advanced knowledge of the nursing process, patient assessment and nursing standards, knowledge of the California Nursing Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, intermediate pharmaceutical, math skills and knowledge of management and assignment personnel. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Peripheral IV experience and skills required. Must be able to prioritize and have good time management skills. 12-Hour Shifts with Overtime; Night Shift Position-Will rotate weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Requires 2 years hospital acute care experience.
- Requires graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Requires current State of California Registered Nurse licensure, with current AHA BLS and ACLS.
- Requires NIHSS Certification
- Requires Basic Arrhythmia Certificate
