About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool in an acute care setting. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple units within a float pool setting, with an emphasis on high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Must pass required Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams prior to start
Recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting (within last 2 years)
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience managing cardiac/telemetry patients
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation
Perform ongoing patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social aspects
Develop and implement individualized care plans and communicate with care teams
Function as a charge nurse when required
Utilize computerized nursing systems and informatics tools effectively
Act as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
