About The Position
Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Med Surg Float Pool team. This role involves managing the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups, and other providers to ensure safe, quality health care. The RN may provide direct care or coordinate and supervise patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Requirements
- Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
