Heartline Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Medical Cardiology opportunity. The Registered Nurse in Medical Cardiology provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care for adult patients with cardiac and cardiovascular-related conditions. This role assumes primary accountability for coordinating and delivering individualized care through a collaborative, team-based approach focused on safety, quality, and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved nursing program eligible for Virginia licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
- CPR certification required
- Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as required by the department
- Computer proficiency required for electronic medical record documentation
- Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements
- Ability to meet essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Completing age-appropriate admission and ongoing assessments
- Developing and revising interdisciplinary plans of care
- Administering treatments and medications
- Documenting care accurately within electronic medical record systems
- Utilizing critical thinking, delegation, and communication skills to support effective care coordination and positive patient experiences.
