About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Russellville, Alabama to hire a Registered Nurse – Med Surg Location: Russellville, AL Department: Inpatient – Med Surg Shift: Days Position Type: PRN About the Role The Registered Nurse – Med Surg provides direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting, delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing services. This role works collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama
- Minimum of 3 months of nursing experience (acute care experience preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to hospital safety, quality, and infection control standards
