Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Care Delivery: Provide direct nursing care by implementing and monitoring individualized patient care plans in strict accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
- Patient Monitoring & Documentation: Continuously assess, record, and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team, ensuring all physician and nursing orders are executed accurately and promptly.
- Care Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator across all healthcare disciplines to ensure integrated, well-rounded treatment and the efficient delivery of medical services.
- Discharge Planning & Advocacy: Assess patient needs and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and execute comprehensive discharge plans that ensure a safe transition from the facility.
