About The Position
A leading 288-bed hospital serving Leon and Gadsden Counties is seeking a dedicated Med-Surg Ortho Registered Nurse to join its collaborative and patient-centered care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and orthopedic surgical needs while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- 1 year of RN experience (acute care preferred; LTAC experience acceptable).
- Active Florida RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS preferred (required within 6 months).
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and collect critical patient data.
- Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Ensure appropriate resource utilization and adherence to care standards.
