Registered Nurse - Manager
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse Manager working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a guaranteed 40 hours per week throughout the assignment. The RN Manager is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring high standards of patient care within the department. The role focuses on leadership, staff coordination, and maintaining efficient workflow while promoting a collaborative and professional healthcare environment. The manager will work closely with physicians, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with established clinical standards. Responsibilities also include monitoring departmental performance, assisting with staff development, and supporting quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse with active state licensure
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical healthcare setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Experience with electronic medical record systems and healthcare documentation
- Ability to support staff performance, promote teamwork, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience managing nursing staff, coordinating patient care operations, or leading departmental initiatives
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Additional leadership or management training
