This position offers a $2,000 (1 year stay-on agreement) or 4,000 (2 year stay-on agreement) Sign On Bonus with the agency! This bonus will be provided upon completion of a probationary period. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of a Supervisor/Coordinator, serves as a staff nurse, performing a variety of duties depending on the area of assignment. May be responsible for the orderly administration and maintenance of medication which involves administering prescribed drugs. Participates in interdisciplinary planning of care and treatment ensuring the coordination of medical services to consumers served by the program. May render general nursing care and provide medical support in accordance with approved nursing practices. Coordinates referrals from case managers requesting consultation with physicians, providing nursing consultation regarding consumers to case managers. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to: providing information and assistance specific to the area of assignment performing admissions screening on new consumers, serving as agency liaison, performing crisis intervention activities, providing case management, providing patient education, and providing above services on an outreach basis an indicated. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA’s mission, policies and procedures.
