About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Long Term Care (LTC) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Vestal, NY. This is a contract position for 16 weeks, with 40 weekly hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Active New York State RN license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Ability to work in long-term care setting
Nice To Haves
- LTC, rehab, or med-surg experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents
- Administer medications (Med Pass) and monitor patient responses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and report condition changes
- Provide care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure patient safety and facility protocol compliance
- Support daily resident care and clinical operations
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
