About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a high-acuity maternity unit . The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, prior travel experience, and the ability to manage complex maternal and fetal cases in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (state-specific)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Must be comfortable handling high-acuity patients
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required)
- Degree accreditation must be included in profile OR minimum 5 years of experience
Nice To Haves
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- EFM Certification
- Experience in high-volume or high-risk obstetrics units
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and complications
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Float to other units or campuses as required
