About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our imaging and procedural team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive image-guided procedures. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures, while collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
Current RN license in [State].
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Minimum 1–2 years of critical care, perioperative, or interventional radiology experience preferred.
Knowledge of sterile techniques and radiology procedures.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented and patient-focused approach to care.

Nice To Haves

Critical Care or Radiology Nursing Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and education.
Assist physicians during image-guided procedures such as angiography, biopsies, and vascular interventions.
Administer medications, sedation, and IV therapies as ordered.
Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures and recovery.
Respond promptly to complications or emergencies and assist with resuscitation efforts if needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
