About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Travel Assignment in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) located in Utica, New York, United States. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong stepdown/critical care experience who is confident managing complex adult patient cases in a high-acuity hospital setting. The position is for a Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week) travel assignment. Floating is required, but block scheduling is not guaranteed. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU / Stepdown) has a capacity of 64 beds, including 15 Neuro-designated beds, and cares for adult patients (18+). Common diagnoses include Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-op cases). Specialty equipment used includes temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems. The unit also cares for chronic ventilator patients (non-weanable, RT-assisted care). Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
• Active New York RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• EPIC EMR experience
• Travel nursing experience (if applicable) must be included in resume
• Updated resume matching specialty experience
• Skills checklist aligned to IMCU/PCU
• Driver’s license with matching address and demographics
• NURSYS verification report
• RTO (Requested Time Off) submitted at time of application
