Heartline Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse I for a Critical Care Step Down unit supporting patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care. This role is ideal for nurses seeking a weekends-only schedule while working in a collaborative, patient-focused inpatient environment. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering individualized patient care through comprehensive assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accurate documentation. Nurses apply critical thinking and delegation skills to manage patient care, administer treatments and medications, and support optimal outcomes for patients of all ages using electronic medical record systems.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved nursing program eligible for Virginia licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
- CPR certification required
- Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as required
- Computer proficiency required for electronic medical record documentation
- Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements
- Ability to meet essential job functions
