BJC Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care team at the Plaza! In this role, you will serve as a clinical cornerstone, primarily managing phone triage while driving high-quality patient care through education, discharge planning, and care coordination. We are seeking a positive, clear communicator who thrives both in autonomous decision-making and as a supportive team player.

Requirements

• Licensure: MO RN License required.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, a professional demeanor, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
• Applicable Experience: 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Clinical Triage & Coordination: Manage telephone triage, schedule emergent appointments, and oversee patient flow to ensure timely care.
• Patient Advocacy: Act as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, and care planning.
• Clinical Skills: Perform IV starts, administer medications, and enter admission orders as directed by providers.
• Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to clinical staff based on scope of practice and provide coverage for MA/LPN duties as needed.
• Quality Control: Manage expired samples and maintain meticulous documentation and professional standards.
